Antarctica Revealed

The magnificent ice continent of Antarctica is an unforgettable destination, teeming with an abundance of wildlife and dramatic sights.

Antarctica is the coldest, driest and windiest place on the planet and 98% of it is covered by ice that is at least a mile thick. Antarctica has no permanent human population but at any one time there are a number of scientists and staff at the various research stations.

Explore Antarctica on a  modern, spacious and well-designed expedition ship  for the journey of a lifetime.

Practical information

Most expedition itineraries start and end in Ushuaia at the southern tip of Tierra del Fuego, Argentina. We will book transatlantic flights to/from Argentina, hotels, airport-hotel transfers, internal flights and any excursions  or arrangements on the mainland on a tailor-made basis before and after you embark on your expedition ship.

A few expedition itineraries include the first night at a hotel in Buenos Aires and a charter flight from Buenos Aires to Ushuaia.

Some expedition itineraries start and end in Punta Arenas, southern Chile, and include the first night at a hotel together with a flight either from Punta Arenas to King George Island in the South Shetlands to join the expedition ship there (avoiding two days’ sailing across Drake Passage) or  from Punta Arenas to Stanley in the Falklands. For these itineraries we will book your transatlantic flights to/from Chile together with any hotels, airport-hotel transfers, internal flights and excursions on the mainland on a tailor-made basis before and after the expedition.

Our Antarctica Revealed website has comprehensive information about all expedition ships and itineraries.
